Northern Edge – May 2023
Leveraging our many years of supporting highly successful maritime demonstrations and exercises worldwide, including last year’s 26-nation Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC 2022), we are excited to showcase the MQ-9B SeaGuardian’s® multi-domain ISR capabilities during Northern Edge 2023, where the U.S. Navy will join other U.S. and Coalition military forces to conduct various exercise and experimentation activities in the Gulf of Alaska and Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex.

RIMPAC Exercise – 2022
As the world’s largest international maritime warfare exercise, the biennial Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise seeks to enhance interoperability among Pacific Rim armed forces as a means of promoting stability in the region to the benefit of all participating nations.
In 2022, the United States Marine Corps (USMC) sponsored GA-ASI to provide MQ-9B aircraft for experimentation events to demonstrate Maritime Support Capabilities. Objectives included long-range maritime surveillance and targeting, integrated assured communications, and USMC-USN integrated operations.

GA-ASI sent its MQ-9B SeaGuardian® to the United Kingdom and Netherlands in the summer of 2021 to complete a series of demonstrations and participate in Exercise Joint Warrior, which showcased the platform's advanced maritime surveillance capability, Detect and Avoid System, industry-leading endurance and assured interoperability. These demonstrations were in collaboration with the UK Royal Air Force and Royal Netherlands Air Force.
Visit eventJapan Coast Guard Flight Validations – 2020
GA-ASI partnered with Asia Air Survey to hold a series of validation flights for the Japan Coast Guard (JCG) featuring GA-ASI's SeaGuardian®. The purpose of the flights was to validate the wide-area maritime surveillance capabilities of RPAS for carrying out JCG's missions, including search and rescue, disaster response, and maritime law enforcement.
Visit eventEuropean Maritime Flight Demonstrations – 2019
In December 2019, GA-ASI conducted a series of demonstration flights using its MQ-9 Guardian Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). The flights were hosted by the Hellenic Air Force (HAF) and staged out of Larissa Air Base in Greece. On display was the maritime surveillance capabilities of the MQ-9, as well as the GA-ASI-developed Detect and Avoid (DAA) system.
Visit eventIki Island Demonstrations – 2018
The maritime surveillance flight demonstrations were conducted in May 2018 using MQ-9 Guardian RPA. The flights collected data for scientific research that will be shared across multiple government agencies. This was the first demonstration of a long endurance RPA by a private company in Japan.
