About GA-ASI at Japan Aerospace
GA-ASI’s display at Japan Aero 2018 – East Hall 7 & 8, Stand #7204 – will feature the Certifiable Advanced Cockpit Ground Control Station (GCS) Simulator for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), 1/6th scale models of Avenger and Guardian RPA, along with an Interactive Touchscreen Demonstration that highlights GA-ASI products and capabilities in a graphically rich and immersive environment.
In May 2018, GA‑ASI worked in cooperation with Iki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, to conduct the first demonstration of a large Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) in Japan. The maritime surveillance flight demonstrations was conducted using a GA-ASI manufactured MQ-9 Guardian RPA and demonstrated the importance of Maritime Domain Awareness in Japan. In addition, the flights collected data for scientific research that will be shared across multiple government agencies. http://www.ga-asi.com/iki-flights
